PROPPS:
In the film we used props to illustrate our story well, because we had no dialogue and we also wanted to create a sense of realism. As the characters were a jogger and killer we needed sufficent props to do with sports wear and kidnapping. we used
1) A phone= for the mp3 music changing songs whilst she was jogging and when both the actors was on the phone to their boss.
2) Headphones = for when shorai was listening to music and the radio broadcast.
3) Tree stump = we needed shorai to fall down accidently so we picked a perfect spot in the forest where it was noticeable but not too dangerous.
4) Belt = strapping shorai in the cargo ristricting her
5) cro metal bar= that simone initially used for shorai but shorai hit ther with it instead.
COSTUMES:
The costumes are based on sportswear and joggers, casual clothing. for both the acotrs it was similar but shorai was more sporty. They both had these clothes already which was very convenient.
LOCATION:
The locations i went to were very safe and linked very well with the narrative of my short film. The locations were a cargo and Hollow ponds forest area. The cargo was used for the kidnapping scenes and Hollow Ponds was used for the jogging scenes, the majority of the scenes. But they were both very reachable and always available whenever we wanted to film. As you can tell in the film the forest is more empty and then cargo is more confinded in the middle of no where.
Lighting:
In the cargo we used torches and lights because it was very dark in the cargo but we still couldn't make it light so we used the colour correctors and balance on final cut pro. We used day time lighting whilst filming in hollow ponds and that came out really good for us we had no problen with them.
